CENTEX HOMES SELECTS ORBIT® IRRIGATION PRODUCTS FOR 900 NEW HOME DEVELOPMENT IN LAS VEGAS

North Salt Lake, UT/Las Vegas, NV - January 6, 2004.

Centex Homes, one of the nation's leading homebuilders operating in more than 90 U.S. markets in 26 states, has selected Orbit® Irrigation products and systems for installation in 900 new homes in the North Las Vegas area. Centex is a subsidiary of Centex Corporation (NYSE:CTX), a Fortune 250 company. The first phase of construction involves 106 new homes in the Stratford neighborhood.

Orbit Irrigation Products Marketing Director Russ Messerly said that Orbit has already held training seminars for the Centex Homes sales teams and construction crews. Additionally, Orbit will provide an instructional end-user DVD that will be given to each new homeowner. "By providing training and the DVD, we'll maximize the ease-of-use and long life of our products for Centex homeowners from the very beginning,” added Messerly.

Irrigation system installation is a standard feature on all new Century One/Centex homes being built in the area. Homeowners have their choice of Orbit® brand Silver Grade Dial-Star, Gold Grade Superstar RF or Platinum Grade fully programmable control centers.
