Website Redesign Features Free Sprinkler Designer Software and Online Installation Guide

North Salt Lake, UT- March 15, 2004.

Orbit Irrigation Products, Inc. announced today the launch of its newly redesigned, user-friendly website (www.orbitonline.com), featuring an online catalog, extensive product information, frequently asked questions, installation guide, free sprinkler designer software, and links to major water conservation sites. "Both professional and residential customers will have easy access to product support and information regarding where to buy Orbit products, warranties, and conserving water, as well as the ability to download our brochures," noted Russ Messerly, Director of Marketing. "We have redesigned the site to be as easily accessible and helpful as possible in order to communicate more fully our focus on customer service and our commitment to quality and 'Conservation through Innovation.'"

The Orbit website offers two programs, the “Do-It-Yourself Sprinkler System Irrigation Guide” and the “Sprinkler Designer,” that enable consumers to use their personal computer as a tool to create a customized irrigation system. Using the “Do-It-Yourself Sprinkler System Irrigation Guide,” consumers can walk through the important steps of designing a system directly on the website.

If consumers would like an actual plan to simplify installation, they can download the free “Sprinkler Designer” software to their computer; input their property plan, landscape features, and the products they want to install. Once the consumer emails this information back to Orbit, Orbit's Design Service creates a final landscape blueprint that is emailed to the online consumer. The landscape blueprint includes a customized, full-color kit for the yard, detailed schematics, a parts list, comprehensive assembly guide, local codes and other related information.

The site also provides extensive information on new and innovative products, Orbit's Professional line, and residential products including the WaterMaster®, DripMaster®, SunMate®, and ArizonaMist® lines. Professional and residential customers can download manuals and Orbit® Installation and Product Guide Videos such as Installation of an Orbit Automated Sprinkler System, Installing and Programming a WaterMaster Timer, and DripMaster Micro Watering Installation.
